CHARLOTTE, N.C.– A Starbucks customer says she got more than she bargained for when she ordered a cup of coffee from her local Starbucks…a side of bullying.

Kayla Hart claims she was harassed by a Starbucks employee after walking into her local shop while wearing a Donald Trump t-shirt. Instead of service with a smile, Hart claims the baristas on duty laughed at her and mocked her support for the 45th president.

“They shouted out build a wall and shoved a drink at me and then all the barisatas in the back started cracking up laughing,” Hart told Charlotte affiliate Fox 46 (http://www.fox46charlotte.com/news/local-news/261436816-story). Further, she says her coffee came with a label that read, “Build the wall”.

“I just walked out because everyone was staring,” says Hart. “I just found it really sad that I can’t wear a t-shirt with our president without being made fun of.”

In a statement, Starbucks, who has made no secret of their company’s distaste for President Trump, says they were unaware of the incident and that the employees responsible will be “coached” accordingly.

“We failed to meet this customer’s expectations of us, and we have apologized and are working directly with her to make it right,” the statement reads. “This experience is not consistent with our standards or the welcoming and respectful experience we aim to provide every customer who visit our stores. We have spoken with our store partners about this situation and are using this as a coaching opportunity for the future,” the statement concludes.

This isn’t the first time Starbucks has come under fire with conservatives. In January of 2017, the company was targeted for boycott after it announced plans to hire thousands of refugees in response to newly elected President Trump’s vow to temporarily restrict Muslims from terror driven countries from entering the U.S. (http://www.foxnews.com/food-drink/2017/01/31/trump-supporters-vow-to-boycott-starbucks-over-ceos-plan-to-hire-refugees.html).

The company faced a similar boycott in 2015 when it urged its baristas to discuss race and “white privilege” with it’s customers by writing “Let’s talk about race” on customer coffee cups (http://fortune.com/2015/03/16/starbucks-baristas-race-talk/).

As for Hart, she says she’s not yet sure whether or not she’ll give the left wing java joint another try.

“This isn’t me trying to get people to stop going to Starbucks. I just want it to be put out there so people know this is what’s occurring,” she says. “I don’t think it’s right you should be humiliated for wearing a t-shirt with your opinion on it.”

  1. All Starbucks that share this bullying belief need to be wearing burkas and move thier shops to the mid east, where American lives are not spent defending their opportunity to be so mislead in life by the dumbing down of the people who own/work at these locations. Their are people who actually died for your freedom. Be respectful instead of being a whining liberal baby who needs a real butt whooping! Grow up ! Or leave the country whose President you hate! We don’t need you or your ideas of our freedoms , we can keep the 2nd ammendment, it keeps the idots alive something that natural selection used to fix! Stupidity runs deep with Starbucks, and Target, I hope they all go bankrupt due to thier policies!
