Sales for Ivanka Trump’s clothing and shoe wear line are skyrocketing according to the latest numbers, despite for calls by liberal organizations to boycott the luxury brand.

Trump, the daughter of president Donald Trump, experienced a slump in public relations last month after high end retailers such as Nordstrom announced plans to pull the products from it’s stores and catalogs.

The success by the left to quell Trump’s sales was short lived, however, as conservative shoppers rushed to Trump’s defense.

“Since the beginning of February, they were some of the best performing weeks in the history of the brand,” Abigail Klem, president of Ivanka Trump HQ told Refinery29.com (http://www.refinery29.com/2017/03/143713/ivanka-trump-brand-reputation-sales-trump-inauguration). “For several different retailers Ivanka Trump was a top performer online, and in some of the categories it was the [brand’s] best performance ever.”

“We actually feel super optimistic because, I think, one, a lot of people support Ivanka, even across both political parties,” said Klem. “And then I think a lot of other people feel like, ‘Oh, I didn’t know Ivanka had a shoe line.’ ‘Oh, I didn’t know she had a handbag line.’ And they’re buying it.”

Lyst, an agency which monitors purchasing data from retailers world wide, reports that from January to February, Ivanka Trump sales increased a massive 346 percent.

The move to boycott the Ivanka Trump brand was part of a campaign known as “Grab Your Wallet,” which called for shoppers to boycott retailers that carried Ivanka Trump or Donald Trump merchandise. The attempt, said Lyst’s U.S. public relations director Sarah Tanner to Fox News, did little to hurt Trump’s brand (http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2017/03/08/ivanka-trumps-fashion-sales-are-skyrocketing-says-company-president.html).

“With that, there was also another movement to support the brand as well that we’re seeing,” she said. “That’s definitely what we’re seeing here.”
